01

Recommended age

Schpin is intended for people aged 16 and older. It is not designed for children and is not offered in the App Store Kids category. A person must meet the legal age, licensing and other requirements that apply where they live before driving a vehicle.

02

Driving and passenger use

Only a legally licensed and insured driver may record a journey as the driver. Younger people or people without a valid licence may appear as passengers only and must never control a vehicle or operate Schpin on behalf of a driver while it is unsafe to do so.

03

Social and user-created content

Schpin includes profiles, follows, a social activity feed, reactions, route titles and comments created by users. Community content may not always be suitable for younger audiences. Users can control visibility and block other accounts. Unlawful, abusive, dangerous or privacy-invasive content is prohibited.

04

Location and route privacy

Recording a Schpin uses precise location and can reveal routes, journey times and frequently visited places. Users should review audience and endpoint-privacy controls before sharing. Parents and guardians should consider whether location-based sharing is appropriate for a young person in their care.

05

Safe and lawful use

Schpin is a journey journal, not a racing or performance competition. It does not condone speeding, street racing, dangerous driving, trespass, distracted driving or any other unlawful behaviour. Never interact with the app while controlling a moving vehicle; prepare it while parked or let a passenger handle permitted interactions.

06

Apple age rating

Apple determines the displayed regional age rating from Schpin's capabilities and App Store questionnaire. Schpin declares its social media and user-generated content features accurately. Regional ratings and parental-control behaviour may differ by country, region and operating-system version.
